New Jersey, US; Golm, Germany & Berlin, Germany
Left around noon on Friday to go to the airport. We took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up trying to Manhattan (flying out from Newark). We even passed right by my office.
Luckily I have TSA precheck because there was zero line and I got through security very quickly.
I got through to my gate and found Alex who got there before me. There were a ton of food options so he got a meatball sub & I got a pizza. We didn't have much time before boarding which was nice.
The flight was long & bumpy but I slept for most of it to trick myself into German time. We landed at around 8am local time (our bodies 2am). Ryan was there to pick us up outside of baggage claim (yay!). And of course, we just missed the train that comes every hour. We had some time to pass so Alex got a coffee & I got a pretzel.
We took the trains back and got off the station that is essentially right at Ryan's apartment. We made some breakfast in the kitchen and then took a much needed nap.
When we woke we got ready and headed back on the train to Berlin. We went to the H-market where I got some fries. We walked around museum island & saw the Berlin Cathedral. We walked a few blocks over and Ryan got some cookie dough ice cream (jealous, it looked good & I wish I had gotten some). We went to Alexanderplatz which is where the coordinate keychain Ryan got some of us for Christmas is of. We had some time before our next reservation so we tried to find food. Ryan took us to a mexican place that he likes but they ran out of tacos (??). So we looked around to plan out where to eat after since it was cutting it close on time. We picked out a BBQ place.
We bought tickets to go up the Berlin TV tower. We had checked the menu ahead of time and it was very limited & expensive so we planned to use our restaurant reservation but just go to the observation deck instead.
When we were on our way up we had told one of the people who work there our plan but she had been we had a window seat table and convinced us we had to go still. She said we could just order an app or drink so we agreed. We took the elevator up and found our seats and the restaurant section actually rotates.
The waitress took so long to come over and we didn't really want anything anyway so we waited it out a bit and ended up leaving before she ever came to us.
Back on the ground, we headed back to the BBQ place because we were all starving by this point. But, the hostess said there was no availability for three people (ugh). We walked around and found a few more places that were all full too (make sure to make a reservation, especially for Saturday nights!). We finally found this Italian place that luckily sat us right away. The vibes were nice in the place & the food ended up being so good - I would go back, maybe I will. Alex & I split a margarita pizza and Ryan got spaghetti. 10/10 recommend L'Osteria.
It was past 9:00 by the time we were done and once we trained back we were all exhausted and went to bed right away.

Berlin & Potsdam, Germany
We woke up and found out that UNC beat Duke and is going to the championship. Alex originally planned to wake up at our 3am to watch it but that definitely didn't happen.
Ryan & Jenny were kind enough to cook us breakfast in their kitchen - eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, english muffins & fruit… yum!
After eating, we got ready for the day and hopped on the 12:00 train. We walked to an outdoor market that had a ton of different vendors - art, clothes, food, drinks, etc. We walked around a bit and saw some denim jackets that were pretty nice. We found one that we especially liked and fit Alex well. We asked the owner and she said that it cost 35 euros. Alex put it back and said he would think about it. We walked around some more. I got some fries & Ryan got a pulled pork sandwich. By this point Alex decided he did want the jacket so he went back for it. When he went to check out, the lady said it cost 40 euros. But good thing Alex spoke up and said “no you told me 35” to which the lady replied “it got colder”. (???!!!) Alex only paid 35. Good.
We brought what was left of our food up the hill to sit and eat on the built in amphitheater. When we were done we climbed up the hill and saw parts of the Berlin wall.
We climbed back down and walked through a bunch of neighborhoods. We did Ryan’s old reverse commute and showed us his old apartment from 2018. We walked through a biergarten and got back on the tram.
We went to see the Brandenburg gate, the holocaust memorial & another section of the Berlin wall. We walked A LOT and saw so much so we were exhausted now. We hopped on the train and headed into Potsdam. We went to a ramen restaurant that Ryan likes for dinner.
After, we tried to go to an icecream shop but it was closed on Sundays. We stopped and I got some pizza to go and got on another tram. Luckily there was ice cream in the train station so Ryan got a cone.
We made it back home, a little earlier than last night, but still after a long day. We each took a shower and got ready for the night. We went to play a couple games of ping pong in the rec side of the building next door which was fun. After we went to sleep ready for another full day ahead of us. But, we did stay up until midnight - happy birthday, Ryan!

Potsdam & Berlin, Germany
Happy Birthday, Ryan!
We woke up a but earlier to make the 9:15 train. We went into Potsdam to meet Rosie for breakfast. We went to a bakery called Exner. We got a few pastries, coffee & tea. We sat and chatted for a little bit.
Un-ironically right after breakfast, we were headed straight to lunch. Fortunately we were in Potsdam and had to get into Berlin so we had some time in between. We went to cafe Rix. We met up with Ryan’s old friend, Erica. She had a lot of good stories throughout the meal. She has lived in so many different countries.
After lunch we were stuffed & planning on heading back to Potsdam to go to the park & rent bikes. But, it was raining. So, when we got back to the Potsdam station we made the call to just head back home. But first, Alex got a brotwurst because that was his one goal was to eat one in Germany.
We went to the grocery store right by Ryan’s apartment because we knew if we didn’t go now, we wouldn’t want to leave the room again. We grabbed some food for dinner as well as some snacks for our long train ride tomorrow.
We got back and relaxed a bit before making dinner in the kitchen. Ryan made mac & cheese, I made a smoothie, and Alex made chicken bites. We hung out a bit more and got some stuff packed up.
We were then called into the kitchen where Ryan’s friends from the apartment as well as his school program threw him a surprise party. They brought some gifts and even a homemade cake. We stayed the rest of the night before going to bed.

Germany to Amsterdam, Netherlands
Travel day
We woke up on the earlier side to make it to our train as we were leaving Germany today. Ryan and I are sharing a suitcase because I thought having one would be easier but I underestimated how heavy it would be.
We made it on our first train and the first transfer with no issues. We got some croissants & pretzels to bring with us since we had about 7.5 hours of train rides ahead of us. When we got off the first main train our connecting train was on the next platform over - perfect. What wasn’t perfect was when we were on this train and they ended up telling us we were running 20+ minutes delayed. Usually that would be fine but we had one more connecting train (with a >10 minute transfer time). Also, usually not too big of a problem. Except for the fact that this morning, a company Ryan is in process with asked him to interview this week. The time they suggested we would have been on a train so they asked him to interview today. Originally was 45 minutes after our last train got to Amsterdam - pretty close to the hotel. So, now we had to worry a bit. We obviously ended up missing our connecting train and had to take the next one. Ryan’s virtual interview was scheduled for 4:00 and we got off the train at 3:45. We ran down the stairs (with our heavy suitcases). But when we got to the bottom there was a turnstyle and everyone was scanning what looked to be metro cards. We were so confused because we didn’t know if they were scanning to get to a subway section and if we were in the wrong place - and would have to run back up the stairs. Luckily after a minute I dug up our original tickets to scan and that worked. Now we were full on running to the hotel. There was hardly a line so we were able to check in fairly quickly. But, the receptionist was explaining everything. I felt badly because we were clearly in a rush. But, we made it up to the room with 90 seconds to spare.
The hotel [redacted for safety, will add in hotel details after check out] we are staying at is SO nice. Very modern, elegant & clean. I would definitely recommend. They have a 24/7 gym, restaurants & to go areas.
Alex and I hung out in the lobby while Ryan had his hour long interview and then we went upstairs to change. We went straight downstairs to the tram to head to our dinner reservation. We ate at nNea Pizza where they gave us scissors to cut our pizzas - which was new to us. Food was pretty good but slightly larger than a personal size. We got ice cream afterwards before heading back to the hotel.
We went upstairs to hangout at the sky lounge which is 19 floors up - but seems even higher.
We were exhausted and went right to bed after.

Amsterdam, Netherlands
We had a full day in Amsterdam - good! Alex wants to move here (haha) so we had plenty of time to explore.
Alex and I made plans to wake up early and go to the gym in the hotel. I woke up and he decided to continue sleeping. So, I went to the gym by myself to do some yoga. It is 18 floors up so it had some good views. After I got ready and the three of us went up to breakfast which was included in the hotel. It was a buffet style which was preferred.
We only had two things planned for the day - one of them was a canal boat cruise at 11:30am so we headed over there. It left from right in front of the Anne Frank house. The boat tour was nice and relaxing and there were only two other families there. We learned that there are 1.1 million bikes in the city (and a lot of those get fished out of the canal). Speaking of things in the canal, our tour guide said that less than a week ago there was a tour bus that fell into the canal and the ~6 people on it couldn't get out. A dutch guy jumped in and saved them all. Fortunately, we had a much better experience on our tour. We booked through Flagship Amsterdam and our tour guides were great - Maxim & Sowmya. I would recommend booking through them.
It definitely got colder during / after our tour so I needed to run back to the hotel to change into warmer clothes. Ryan got some tacos from a place right near our hotel & ate them while we changed.
Now, this is the first time we split up during the trip. Ryan had booked a haircut so he needed to get there. Alex and I left a few minutes later with no plan in mind. We decided to get on the first tram that came and get off at a random stop, walk around, and see what we wanted to do. The only requirement was that we needed to be in a place with wifi in a little over an hour to let Ryan know where we were after he was done with his haircut. We ended up at a cute little cafe, Jordaant Je Amsterdam, where we got some fries and a beer. We ended up staying there for a while which was good because it started downpouring. Ryan ended up meeting us there and got some fries & a coke for himself too. The waitresses were super nice & helped us with our Dutch pronunciation. After we left we started wandering around and looking at some tattoo shops (don't worry we didn't get anything ... yet). We didn't have any other plans until our dinner reservation at 6 so we had about 2 hours. We took the tram to the Central station & then to see the "Fault in our stars" bench. We also stopped at the store because Ryan needed some socks. We made it to the restaurant, Rotisserie West, a few minutes before our reservation. It was completely empty. So, it turns out that whenever we don't have a dinner reservation, everything is packed. And when we have one, everything is empty. I was excited to have a burger but I was still full from lunch so didn't end up getting anything. Alex got a burger though and said it was really good. Ryan got a chicken sandwich. We stopped by a convenience store for some wipes & soap. Ryan got some ice cream - yum!!
And then we went back to a tattoo shop that had openings that night & one or more of us may have gotten a tattoo ... or not. I'll leave that up to your imagination.
We headed back to the hotel and stopped at the same taco place while Ryan went ahead to shower at the hotel. Since I hadn't eaten dinner earlier I got a little hungry. I got a quesadilla & some chips and salsa. We brought it up to the room to eat and Ryan had wanted some food now that he saw me eating & I was still a little hungry. So we went back down to get more. Luckily it was right next to our apartment. We made it back in time even though they were closing soon. I got another quesadilla, Alex got one & we got Ryan some chips & salsa.
I packed up a little for our travel day tomorrow before going to sleep.
April 7, 2022
Brussels, Belgium
We woke up sad to be leaving Amsterdam because we all really like it here. We soaked up the limited time we had left. The sun actually came out while we were in the hotel for the first time all trip. We had breakfast before packing up.
We got to the train station early and had two connections but ended up not doing the last one. The train we were on was still going to the same place but would arrive a few minutes later so we still figured it was worth it rather than finding our connecting train.
We got to Brussels (!!) and our hotel, B&B, was just two blocks from the train station which was good. We checked in and then got settled before exploring the city.
We had no plans & did little research - we just chose to come here because we picked it on a map since it was close. Alex found the Grand Place online so we walked there.
It was about a 20 minute walk and we could definitely tell that we were on the outskirts because we could tell when it turned to true city.
The Grand Place was a plaza with a bunch of huge decorative buildings. We were all starving at this point so we went to Manhattns Burgers. We got burgers, chicken sandwiches & milkshakes - yum!
Afterwards, still with no plans, we walked & walked. We stopped in some chocolate shops & a beer museum. But, we went downstairs and it was very strange - didn't see any employees at the front & nowhere to buy tickets so we left.
We walked for miles in circles around the city. We saw a garden area, statues & lots of important looking buildings. We couldn't find anything to do. We decided to go to the Manneken Pis (Little Pissing Man) statue before going back to the hotel. None of us were really feeling the city so figured we could at least relax a bit. We hung out for a while and then later at night Alex was debating wanting a waffle. If he had one he wanted it to be a real & good one but that would mean going back into the city. I convinced him by telling him that he'll realistically never be back in this city.
We took the subway (which is probably the least nice transportation we've taken here) a few stops and walked to a waffle shop. Alex got one with nutella & caramel and Ryan strawberries & bananas. Definitely worth it.
We went back to hotel to get ready for bed. The wifi in the hotel didn't work only for me :(
Overall, none of us were a fan of Brussels. The entire city seemed very random - every corner you turned was different, it was very touristy (souvenir shops) & not much to actually do. I am glad I came & experienced it but I will be okay never visiting again (haha).
And to answer everyone's burning question -- I did get a tattoo yesterday. But was I the only one? That's not my story to tell.
April 8, 2022
Paris, France
Travel day.
We woke up and Alex & I sat downstairs in the hotel for breakfast while Ryan had an interview. After we relaxed & packed up before heading to train station. We didn't have much time in the morning to do anything but we didn't feel like it anyway.
We got to the train station and it was a very quick, easy & direct train ride to PARIS! YAY!
When we got there there was so much confusion with our metro tickets but we ended up figuring it out. It was POURING when we got there and pretty much poured for the rest of the day. We checked into the hotel and got all ready before making it out in the rain.
We took the train towards the Eiffel Tower (which is so much bigger than I even thought). We didn't go super close to it but got some late lunch/early dinner since we were all starving. We all got pasta and garlic bread - so good. We walked around a little after but ultimately decided to go back to the hotel because we were drenched and it was pretty miserable.
We hung out for a bit but later I was feeling bummed that the rain ruined the day so we decided to actually go to the Eiffel Tower. It was still raining but wasn't horrible. We all bundled up and it was worth it. We walked over and went under the tower and got a crepe from a truck nearby. I am glad we were able to make the most of a crummy day. It was supposed to rain all day tomorrow too but suddenly changed - it should be nice!
Back at the hotel, we sat up at the sky bar which had a view of the Eiffel Tower and we watched it sparkle and light up at 10:00.
April 9, 2022
Paris, France
We woke up with no plans, again, besides a lunch reservation incase things were crowded. Ryan suggested that we go to the Louve so we bought tickets for the afternoon. We took the train to get coffee/breakfast. We didn’t have a specific place in mins, just wanted to find something so we just picked a stop on the subway to get off at. We ended up seeing the Arc de Triomphe as we were walking. We ended up finding a cute cafe, Cafe de Paris. We got some pastries & pancakes & eggs.
After, we walked through the streets wandering around and going in and out of stores. We went into a drug store that ended up having all of the designer brands as well as fresh food. Walgreens could never.
We had lunch reservations at Ober Mamma. It is a good thing because the place was packed. I originally wanted to eat at Pink Mamma but reservations were full even a month+ out so we picked this place, which is a sister restaurant instead. But, it seems that this place - and the whole family of restaurants is pretty popular. We all got pizza.
We took the metro towards the Louve and even though we had tickets for a specific time, there were so many people on line that we considered leaving. But fortunately, the line moved fairly quickly and we were inside soon enough. Maybe I shouldn’t say fortunately, because this was the biggest & most confusing museum I’ve ever been to. I am not a museum person so I may be biased but I did not think this was worth it. We did decide to find the Mona Lisa because we figured it would be silly to go in and not even see it. Honestly though, it took a good half hour to find it because the signs are horrible and very confusing. I was told people are always surprised at how small the painting is so I was picturing something tiny. So, I may be the only person in the world who was surprised at how big it was. Honestly just a normal size.
We spent a good hour and a half+ in the museum so by the time we got out it was about 5:30. Ryan’s friend in Paris got us a reservation at a video game bar at 7 so we were kind of rushing. Ryan went straight back to the hotel but I dragged Alex with me to the Eiffel Tower (thanks Alex). I wanted to get a picture there in the daylight and i convinced him that he would regret not taking a photo as well. I am very glad we went because it was super nice during the day and we found a little street off to the side with a cool view. I wish we had more time to hangout in the park area but that’s okay.
We went back to the hotel to change before meeting Ryan and friends at the bar (we were late). It was cool to experience France with two French people and learn about some differences. Speaking of differences, I experienced a language error here. This place only sold hotdogs and Ryan didn’t end up wanting his. Everyone got ketchup, mustard & onions on it but Ryan’s just had the ketchup. I figured if I was going to eat one I would add mayo to it. I looked up the translation - which is essentially just mayonnaise, before going up to the counter. I asked for a cup of mayonnaise but clearly there was some transplantation error. He grabbed a little shot glass - since they don’t have much food I figured maybe they don’t have any plastic cups (wishful thinking). But then he reached for a bottle. Uh oh. First in my head I am thinking, oh no I’m getting a shot that I don’t want plus I don’t have my mayo. Then I am thinking - wait now I am going to have to pay for this shot that I don’t want. When he put it down on the counter I reluctantly asked how much it was. And thankfully (!!!) the guy said it was on him. So I took it and ran back to the table. Everyone was so confused because I clearly didn’t leave to go order a shot. I double checked with our French friends and they said I said it. correctly. We figured out the shot was of Bailey’s and our friends couldn’t even figure out how they would have ordered that for the worker to be confused - milky vodka?
We stayed for a big before grabbing some chicken & fries down the street and heading back go the hotel to of course watch the Tower sparkle.
April 10, 2022
Paris, France
Alex left today :( We woke up to pack and find coffee but nothing was open nearby so he figured he would get some at the airport. We sent him on his way to take the train alone but he ended up making it home safe & sound.
Ryan and I had this one last full day in Paris to do whatever we wanted. We took the train to a new neighborhood to Cafe de Flore. We had to wait ~20/25 minutes to get in because it’s a pretty well known spot. We ate and then took some photos outside for a bit. Again with no plans we just wanted to explore & walk around. We took the metro to see the Notre-Dam. There were a bunch of people outside so we found a small area to sit at.
This was the first nice day all trip - the sun was out, it wasn’t raining & was actually warm (maybe not warm, but not cold) I was able to wear a dress. We were just googling different areas, talking the metro there & walking around. We walked around the whole city for hours on end. I took some photos/videos that I needed to for some brand work - thank you Ryan, for being my photographer.
We found this little garden that had a view of the Eiffel Tower so we sat and hung out there and then a few blocks over we found a huge grass area. Tons of people were hanging out, playing soccer, spikeball, dancing, etc. It was nice to see. We walked towards the Eiffel Tower and found a bakery because I needed to live out my dream of eating a croissant at the Tower - so that’s what I did.
We headed back to the park and when I say we spent hours just sitting outside, that’s exactly what we did. Ryan wanted crepes for dinner - I did too, obviously. So we planned to go back to the area we were in yesterday for breakfast because we knew there were some places there. We saw some rental bikes and thought that would be fun but we couldn’t figure out how to get them to work so we gave up.
We got crepes for an early dinner and went back to the hotel to pack. We had to go to bed early because we have to wake up at 3:40am tomorrow to go to the airport. Where to next?! You’ll have to wait and see :)
This may have been my favorite day of the trip so far. We didn’t do anything super special but it may have helped that it was the first nice day. I also happen to really like Paris which played a big part in enjoying this day.
April 11, 2022
Mallorca, Spain
3:40am wake up call. We had packed everything the night before and ryan had scheduled Uber to pick us up or else we would've had to walk a bit in the dark to the bus. So we figured this was the better option, and it was. it is a good thing we left a little bit early and gave us some buffer time because after we checked out of the hotel it took us forever to find a Uber. But eventually we did and we got to the airport. I have 10+ rolls of film so I asked security to hand check it but they still made me put it through the x-ray machine. Everyone please send some good vibes that my film and photos aren't ruined. I will be so upset. We just have to wait and see.
we had a little bit of time before our flight took off but everything went smoothly. Ryan and I each had a row on the plane to ourselves. The early wake up was worth it because we had sunrise views on the plane. The flight was quick about an hour and a half.
Ryan scheduled a taxi because it was cheaper than the airport transportation to the hotel. While we waited for him to arrive we got a snack. The driver found us and it was ryan's first time having someone have a sign with his name on it to find us / pick us up. our driver brought us to the hotel and offered to pick us up as well or drive us during our time here and had some suggestions for what we should do.
we weren't supposed to be able to check in until 3:00 PM but luckily our room was ready when we got there (at 10 AM). we checked in and went up to the room and I was genuinely in shock. This was such a nice hotel and I couldn't believe our view. I will include lots of photos. Luckily we got here early. The original flight we were going to take would've got us here in the afternoon. But, it was super nice out so we had a full day to lay outside. I know I said previously we don't have many plans in the other cities but Spain we really have zero things planned out. We really just want to do nothing. Relax. Read a book. Not leave the hotel - luckily it’s nice enough that we don’t have to.
We also lucked out because included breakfast ends at 11 so we had time to grab some food. There were so many options and we could get whatever we wanted.
We laid out on the daybed got a drink took a nap in the sun. It was great. I took some photos for brand stuff while it was sunny so I wouldn’t have to worry during the rest of the time here.
There is a dinner restaurant at the hotel but the front desk said we would need reservations & we hadn’t seen the menu - and also figured it would be expensive. We decided to check to see what was nearby. We went back to the room to get ready and while we were there Ryan got an offer call from the company he had been interviewing at - everyone say congrats, Ryan! Yay!
The hotel is definitely nice because housekeeping comes to the room multiple times a day & drops off water & macaroons & chocolate.
We found a bar & grill place nearby (~5 minute walk). But when we got there and sat down someone came to ask us what we wanted and when we asked to see a menu he mentioned that there is no food for the time being. His wife is the cook but she had an accident so they were only serving drinks for a few weeks. They weren't many other options nearby. I don't think we are in the touristy part of the island. But we did find one place right across from the hotel. So we ate there.
Overall, a good day and start to our time in Spain!
April 13, 2022
Mallorca, Spain
We woke up and it was raining and would continue the rest of the day. So it was an ultimate relax day. We went to the gym & I biked 10 miles. It’s a lot easier with a good view. We were ultimately pre working off all the breakfast we were about to eat.
We had the buffet style breakfast again: eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, fruit, croissants & lotttss of good baguette bread.
We went back to the room and regrouped a little before our massage! We went to the spa which is connected to the hotel. I got a deep tissue & Ryan got one with essential oils. Very worth it & a great rainy day activity.
We hung out in the room for the remainder of the afternoon. I caught up on some personal emails & editing photos & videos. We both got a little hungry but as we know by now there are no snack/lunch options really. Ryan wanted to take the bus (~15 minute ride) into town to find some food so I went with him. The whole trip we had been curious if McDonald’s was any different (or better) in other countries. Spoiler alert: it’s not.
The place we were was located in an outlets/mall type of thing so we did some window shopping & even found a Toys R Us to go into for old times sake.
We took the bus back and I showered and we hung out for the rest of the day in the room again. For dinner, we luckily didn’t have any issues this time. We were able to order the pasta from room service and it ended up being really good. Yay, phew!
Although this was our last full day in Spain & it was rainy, it was still relaxing and enjoyable. Of course the sun would have been nice but we didn’t have plans to do much anyway.
We have the morning here before checking out & heading back to the airport. Wish me luck that they don’t send my film through the X-Ray machine again.
April 14, 2022
Mallorca, Spain
Travel day.
Nothing too exciting. We woke up and went to the gym - a quick workout before heading to breakfast. I am going to miss this breakfast, so many options.
We got back to the room and had to pack everything up. We had to check out of the hotel at 12:00 but our ride to the airport wasn't until 2:15. We checked out and were able to leave our luggage in the lobby. We sat downstairs of the hotel and hung out until it was time to to.
Carlos, who was the same person who drove us to the hotel the other day, drove us to the airport. We made it, checked our bag, got through security & to our gate with plenty of time to spare. I asked security to hand check my film but they sent me to another line that had an x ray machine that was apparently safe for film. Let's hope 1. that was accurate 2. that's the same type they had at the other airport 3. all my film is fine.
We will see. Fingers crossed!
Our flight was supposed to take off at 4:30 but we hadn't moved until 5. The flight was about 3 hours and we still made it despite the delay. The flight was fine. Ryan & I sat next to each other and the third seat in our row was empty.
We took the train back to his apartment from the airport and of course it was raining. We had to walk with our luggage through the rain back to the room. We dropped our stuff off quickly because we had to run to the grocery store before it closed. The store was going to be closed tomorrow for Passover so we had to stock up now.
We made dinner & hung out the rest of the night.
Mallorca (or at least the hotel) was very nice & relaxing :)

Germany
Goodmorning! Full day in Germany today.
One of my goals for the trip was to sign up for a fitness class to go to on ClassPass (you can use your membership credits for gyms, studios, massages, beauty, etc.) all over the world
One of my goals for the trip was to sign up for a fitness class to go to through ClassPass. I have a Classpass membership that lets you use your credits all over the world. There are lots of options (fitness, beauty, wellness) in different cities. Here's a link if you wanna sign up.
We figured today was the perfect day. I found a yoga class to sign up for in Berlin at Yoga4All. It was a core specific class at 11:15am. I even got Ryan to sign up and take the class with me. We took the 9:26 bus in & then a train to get to the studio. It ended up being really nice - a cute studio, good instructor, hard class. I would recommend!
By the time the class was over a little after noon we were starving. We found a cute little place, Suzette's, and we got crepes - they were so good. I got a crepe with whipped cream & bananas & Ryan got one with chocolate & bananas.
The place was pretty full & backed up so it took a while to get our food & eat. At about 2:15 it was raining so we headed back home. We had to get ready for tonight anyway.
We got back and were able to relax but at around 6 we went to the kitchen in the apartment and started prepping. Ryan's building was throwing a Passover potluck dinner. We were cooking gnocchi, garlic bread & salad. But we helped everyone else out too. I helped Jenny make brownies & some sort of potato dish.
There were a bunch of people and everyone brought something - apps, food & dessert. One of his friends gave a little speech about passover & that she was happy that so many people showed up since she was upset she wasn't able to travel home to be with her family for the holiday.
The dinner was supposed to start at 8 but ended up starting later because all of the food took long to prepare so by the time we ate it was late. And I was tired so I headed to bed.
